According to the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department, “Investigators are still trying to determine a motive for this attack.”
The national media has not had much to say about Rita Loncharich. Two pictures tell the story of why this story is not a story:

Antonio Moore is a career criminal with many arrests. He allegedly has mental issues. Now that he has been arrested in Florida, he is ‘identifying’ as trans to try and leverage a lighter sentence.
If it does not advance the bogus and malevolent liberal agenda, it is not national news — at least not if the MSM can get away with burying it.
Tell your liberal friends what happened to Rita Loncharich, and you are likely to receive the traditional sneering response: “Where’d you hear that? Fox News?!?!?”
At least it happened in Florida. If it had been New York, Moore might be set loose again after a minimal wrist slap, with authorities weeping over the oppression he must have suffered to drive him to such an act.
