Apparently they changed the rules for debate teams - not sure how it was done in the past but now there is no need to support your argument, use examples, or provide any logical connection between your point and the subject matter. The judges don't use any judgement in ruling. It's all based on the number of points you can shout out in the allotted time period. So the monkey women who shout gibberish get to claim they made more "points" than the other team without actually using any logic or traditional debate methodology. I've seen that clip before. It is beyond stupid.
ReplyDeleteI've never been on a debate team but I've watched a few. This, like you inferred, was just she-boons hollering and screaming at each other. It was just a total waste of time. How do you pick a winner out of two total losers.
