On the parkour a-hole breaking the railing on the second story balcony, I look with horror at all the people who just assume something will support their weight when that something was never designed for any sort of load bearing application. At work, our fall protection harnesses must be connected to something rated for like 5000 lbs dead drop. Essentially if a pipe or beam doesn't look strong enough to support holding a truck, then don't hook up to it. Yet these yahoos swing and jump and hang on to stuff like nothing. I'm surprised more stuff doesn't break off.
