Posted this 'cartoon' a day or two ago thought I would post this because NONE of the articles I saw indicated the race of the 'teens.'
Eight players from a Philadelphia youth
football team allegedly stole over $2,000 worth of merchandise from a
Dick’s Sporting Goods while in Florida for a national championship
tournament, as the local sheriff tore into the “ultimate loser” coach
who cried to get the kids’ charges dropped.
The juvenile suspects, part of the United Thoroughbreds under-14 team,
were hours away from kickoff in the Prolifix Nationals tournament when
they decided to take an Uber to the store in Davenport, Florida, on Dec.
6, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office said.
The delinquents were captured on security cameras entering the store
just before 11 a.m., when they launched the daylight heist, according to
footage shared by the sheriff’s office.
The Thoroughbred team lost the game because the 8 players were held in juvenile until after the Championship game.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd put out a video about it:

Absolutely no surprise about the apprentice felons....
ReplyDeleteI would have expected no other ...
DeleteI hope the DA demands no bail during their arraignment and they be tried as adults. No bail because they are a huge flight risk, they will scurry back to Philly and laugh at the Florida courts when they no-show and bench warrants are issued. Keep them their until their prison terms are complete.
ReplyDeleteAnd the DA should recommend their coach be charged as an accessory along with 8 counts of child endangerment for letting this bunch of thugs go off in an Uber without supervision.
I'm glad it was Polk County because Sheriff Judd doesn't play games and he will do everything he can to make sure they pay a price, but them being 'youts' from a liberal city, Philadelphia will scream to get them back and the punishment won't be as severe as we would like. I thought it was great that he held them long enough to miss their game and lose the championship. That and the little bit of juvie time they did will probably be the extent of it.
DeleteSheriff Grady's jurisdiction?!? Wow. I'm impressed at the sheer stupidity. I realize they're used to Chicago, but they really picked the wrong county. Losing the game is going to be the least of their worries.
ReplyDeleteSheriff Grady, I love that guy. He's the sheriff that tells felons he encourages his constituents to buy guns, train with guns, and if bad guys show up at their house, to blow them away.
If you're in Florida and need to commit a felony, go to Brower County. Not Polk.
Sheriff Judd does NOT play and he loves to get in front of a camera to expose the criminals.
DeleteAt least it was a dicks, bwahahaha
ReplyDeleteHell yeah, I thought that was funny as shit too.
