I lived in the South, whites did not go to Popeyes or Churches for their chicken. You should know that!
ReplyDeleteFull Disclosure: I've never bought chicken from Popeyes, but for about 3 years, many years ago, my employer bought lunch 3 days a week. At least one of those days was going to be Popeyes. He was addicted to their chicken and he could get a jalapeno with his meal. I ate it and it wasn't bad but it was way too crunchy, too much batter. I had to scrape the stuff off with my knife and give it to him.

ReplyDeleteSee my reply above ... also if I am going to be eating fried chicken, I get it from Publix first or KFC. My wife hates frying chicken. She uses some flimsy excuse about not being able to do it right. I never turned it down. And if there's any Asian food eaten in this house, my old lady can have it.
