The wife of our Historic First Black President will never forgive whites for handing her fame and fortune on an Affirmative Action basis. She still festers with hostility, even accusing Caucasians of oppressing her hair*:

[Michelle Obama] said she felt obligated to keep her hair straight during her tenure in the White House in a conversation with actress Tracee Ellis Ross. She blamed white people for the “exhausting” beauty standards she felt she had to upkeep while she was in the spotlight.
Prepare to be educated:
“Let me explain something to white people!” Obama said.
“Our hair comes out of our head naturally in a curly pattern, so when we’re straightening it to follow your beauty standards, we are trapped by the straightness!” she claimed.
Because of whites, blacks cannot swim or go to the gym:
“And we run away from the water — people won’t go to the gym, because we’re trying to keep our hair straight for y’all. It is exhausting, and it’s so expensive and it takes up so much time!” she whined.
Obama went on to suggest it was in the best interests of white people to allow black women [to] abandon these alleged beauty expectations.
Okay Michelle. You have my permission.
No wait, she is a Democrat, so it has to be done coercively:
“Braids are for y’all so we can work harder and focus on the work, so why do we need an act — an act of law to tell white folks to get out of our hair,” she said.
She referred to the insane CROWN Act*, which would establish special legal privileges for blacks on the basis of their hairstyles. This actually passed in the House but was stopped by filibuster in the Senate.
Snarled the victim of pilar oppression:
“Don’t tell me how to wear my hair, don’t wonder about it, don’t touch it — just don’t!”
Be sure to oppress any urges to touch Michelle Obama’s hair.

And to think when "afros" were the thing I use to deride them saying your pubic hair grew out from the wrong place. Don't worry big mike, I will not touch your hair or get close enough to suffer your funk and the rancid pig grease you apply to your hair.
ReplyDeleteContrary to what she claims, white people would rather them stick to their own hair styles and mantras and don't 'culturally appropriate' straight hair. Whenever liberal white women decided that black women were 'worth emulating' and they started putting their hair in cornrows, the black women and their ilk went batshit crazy.
DeleteI can't even think about how gross that hair, and the grease that holds it in place, and the funk that grows there would feel against my skin and they don't even have to worry about me touching it.
