(Well, not rich, but a little pocket money … as long as y’all don’t tell my old lady. It just means the government is taking too much taxpayers money most of the time ... and they better not be giving it to illegals that haven't paid in a dime.)
President Trump revealed this morning that he’s planning to send almost everyone a big payment from the government because of tariff revenues he’s collected.
Specifically, Trump says everyone except high income people will get at least $2,000:
Trump also railed against the idea that, as president, he can stop all trade with a foreign country but he’s “not allowed to put a simple Tariff on a Foreign Country?” He’s clearly making an argument for the Supreme Court, as they consider his use of tariffs via emergency powers:
What do they consider "high income"? I bet that number is a LOT lower than most people think.
ReplyDeleteProbably ... and the decision to do this will probably have to be voted on so I'm thinking it may not even happen if the Democrats have a hand in deciding. They hate for Trump to do anything that makes him look good.
