Graham Greene, the Canadian First Nations actor who garnered an Oscar nomination for his work in Kevin Costner’s “Dances with Wolves,” died Monday after a long illness, according to media reports. He was 73.
Greene was born in Ohsweken, on the Six Nations Reserve in Ontario in 1952.
(I remember him fondly from “Wind River”, “Dances With Wolves”, as well as the “Lonesome Dove” series.)
I like him as Leonard Quinhagak on Northern Exposure.
ReplyDeleteI never saw "Northern Exposure". I guess I should check it out.
DeleteAlso a regular on the Red Green show,a good comedian,he played a demo expert, who was hard of hearing and missing a finger.
ReplyDeleteEdgar K B Montrose.

A consummate actor and comedian! I always have enjoy watching movies with him in it. Kevin Costner could have stayed out of Dances with Wolves and just centered the movie around him.
ReplyDeleteClearcut, is another awesome movie he did.
