Routh stood trial for and was found guilty of the following charges:
Count I - Attempted Assassination of a Major Presidential Candidate
Count II - Possession of a Firearm in Furtherance of a Crime of Violence
Count III - Assaulting a Federal Officer
Count IV - Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition
Count V - Possession of a Firearm With an Obliterated Serial Number
Count I, the most serious of the charges, is punishable by life in prison and required prosecutors to prove an intent to kill, and that the defendant took a "substantial step" towards committing the crime.
Count II is also punishable by life in prison.
Well, that's nice and everything, but how many people think he was a "lone actor" with no outside support? Is he gonna spill the beans inside the big house, or get Epsteined? Or is it Clintoned? He's the patsy, we need to get his support network too.
ReplyDeleteThere's already an investigation. From what I've read, there was $162,000 deposited into Routh's daughter's account (Sara Routh). I may be mistaken, but there may have been another $160,000 deposited before that. They want to know where the money came from. I'm sure that can be traced. He was paid.
