'Bad Bunny?'

This is the half-time entertainment for the Superbowl this year. It is called 'Bad Bunny.'

Never heard of it before yesterday. I may record the Superbowl so I can watch it and skip the commercials and half-time IF either of the teams is one I care about. I quit watching NFL quite a few years ago but I do watch the Superbowl from time to time. I thought that the only bad bunny was the Rabbit Of Caerbannog.

In the Monty Python And The Holy Grail movie, the knights encounter a 'killer' rabbit in The Cave of Caerbannog which is the home of the Legendary Black Beast of Arrrghhh. After the ‘killer’ rabbit decapitates one of King Arthur’s knights, kills several others and injures several, the Knights employ the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch to dispatch the rabbit and move forward with their quest.
The rabbit scene was shot outside the Tomnadashan copper mine, a cave four miles from the Perthshire village of Killin.
The tale of the rabbit has a parallel in the early story of the Roman de Renart in which a foe takes hubristic pride in his defeat of a ferocious hare.
The idea for the rabbit in the movie was taken from the façade of the cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris. This illustrates the weakness of cowardice by showing a knight fleeing from a rabbit.

    1. And if there ever was a reason, that'd be a good one. Where do they get these freaks from. From what I'm reading 'he' doesn't sing anything in English ... who do they think watch these damn games ... Botswanians? Actually from what I can gather 'he' has terminal TDS and 'he' hates ICE. So now we know why 'he' was picked.

    1. I didn't write the script. Antioch, Turkey. ... OH, they misspelled it and I did a copy and paste ... I assume that is what you were referring to.

  3. Want to see generational gap in action? Throw out a random quote from that movie during a serious staff meeting and see who starts to snicker. I can usually get one or two of the other old timers to crack up while all the young people stare at us in confusion. Something like "My project was delayed due to an offline meeting to finalize discussions on the air-speed velocity of a coconut laden sparrow. We hope to catch back up to the schedule next week." I'm to the point where I don't care anymore and I do this during most every meeting I attend.

    1. I'm not as good at it as I once was. We used to bring up stupid lines from the good shows that were on back in the day and our friends kids would side eye us thinking we were losing our minds. Cracks me up.
