In Australia, South of Gladstone, Queensland, in Sept 2014, a road train carrying 52 tons of ammonium nitrate crashed near Angellala Creek, set off a massive explosion, destroyed 2 bridges, 2 fire trucks, damaged several other vehicles, and registered 2.1 on the Richter scale. Parts of the wreckage were found up to 1 km (0.6213 miles) away from the scene.
2:00 "a house approximately 6 km north of the accident site sustained damage to its internal walls"
ReplyDeleteThat was curious to me as well. I wonder if that was due to the possibility of ground movement owing to the strong measurement on the Richter Scale?
DeleteTook a bridge out, damn, did Filthie unleash a fart bomb?
ReplyDeleteIt does resemble some of his work doesn't it. And it was two bridges.
