Well everything went smoother this morning than I was expecting.
When we were leaving the house, the nurse's assistant called and they had a cancellation in the office right here in town and it worked out that I could get there just in time.
They 'waived' the breathing test and said they would just redo the date and send it off again with confirmation that I did see the nurse ... WHEW. So now I should be able to move forward with getting a oxygen concentrator.
They also gave me copies from my file covering the anxiety issues and sent a recommendation to the gummy doctor and they said I should have no problems.
So even having to get up and go to the dreaded doctors office turned out to be a worthwhile trip.
So your doctor's office must now resort to cheating to game the insurance company....
ReplyDeleteThat was similar to the comments they made this morning when I was in for the visit. It irritates them too. They mentioned several issues they've had lately that involve insurance companies that make everyone suffer except them to just be able to make the insurance company do its job.
DeleteI would recommend you investigate the VA for equipment that you need. My experience has been far more positive than dealing with the disinsurance industry. Best of outcomes to you
ReplyDeleteThank you Jumpinjn. I was going to the VA for a long time until Obongo became president. Then the rules changed and since my issues weren't service connected, they almost shut ANY of my benefits down and it was taking longer and longer to get appointments. Its like they were shutting me out. I guess I should check out getting back in.
DeleteI have many friends who live in Florida or Winter there they all have high praise for VA medical today With all the progress in identifying medical conditions related to military service I would suggest you consider applying for a medical disability rating.
