I know that some people want these criminals to suffer as long as possible and I sympathize with that. But I don't think we should have to pay for him to be fed and housed for the next 50 years. He should be hung by the neck until he is dead ... publicly. The last thing he should be told, off the record, is that after you die like that, your body relaxes and you shit and piss all over yourself. Then hang him. Public hangings would also go a long way towards deterring this type of behavior. Those that say it doesn't are stupid. The reason the death penalty doesn't deter now is because we don't do it enough and we drag it out for 20 years.

My thoughts on public hangings/executions....if there is a "smoking gun" as in video, witnesses, etc to 100% prove the dude or dudette did it; then; 1) arrest, 2) drag before a judge to read them their illegal actions, 3) drag them out to the village square and hang/execute them. All within a week, no longer.

DeleteBack in the 1980s, I went to get my California driver's license in Long Beach. After taking the written test, you'd bring it to the counter where it was manually scored. The young Hispanic woman in front of me had about 25% of the questions correct (same odds as guessing). The man marked it a failure and handed it back to her. She looked at it, handed it back to him with a $20 bill. He pocketed the money, and moved her on to the next station to get her license.
