Never bought anything from IKEA but it seems like it might be a challenge.

I don't get the attraction for Ikea. The few things we bought there weren't even real wood - just that stupid, heavy, and not particularly structurally strong particle board. Basically saw dust and glue molded into a board with pre-cut holes for attachments. The hardware was cheap chinesium metal trinkets that worked loose within minutes. Any little bit of moisture and the "wood" disintegrated. And forget that whole Swedish thing, everything in the Ikea store comes from China. Within a few years we threw it all away and bought real furniture.
ReplyDeleteI've never purchased anything from them. I saw a piece or two that friends had purchased and decided that it wasn't for me. I'm not rich but I would rather buy decent stuff once than buy crappy stuff 3 or 4 times as the old stuff fell apart.
