(They should have done that rear window like a full window ... the window/door they have taints the overall look of the truck, imho.)

That's gotta be homemade - no way the factory put out anything like that. Looks like they got two donor front doors off another truck and just kind of southern engineered it together. Also, the dual tanks look kind of iffy. One on each side? No cross-over tube? Still, someone wanted it and then they built it. I've seen some conversions of 60's era F-100's that stretched from a single cab to the extended cab, but no second door. Those at least look more factory production. That's all assuming this ain't some AI rendition.
ReplyDeleteNot AI. It is a aftermarket customized vehicle. You can read more here: https://www.mouse-motors.com/Cars/Sold/1970-gmc-k2500-sierra-grande-custom-4-speed-crew-cab-conversion/58
DeleteYup, that weird assed panel distracts from the whole truck. I bet looking back to the sides is difficult with those panels, nothing like huge B-pillars! They wanted to keep the wing windows and it fails. Other than that the truck is cool!
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I love wing windows but not like this. I like the truck but that back window sucks.
