Better Go Get A Rabies Shot

Or better yet, go inside, get the shotgun, go out there and blast that tree rat out of the tree and carry it in to get tested.
And who said white dudes can’t dance …
(After going to several veterinarian sites, I found out that squirrels very rarely get rabies and no recorded transmission of rabies from a squirrel to human has ever occurred.)
But, there’s always a first time … BSTS (Better Safe Than Sorry)

  1. Shotgun for sure! A brave or stupid little squirrel with two hounds dogs around. He sure didn't put down that idiot phone to grab that little asshole and twist his neck, see how most are addicted to that damn thing?

    1. That's the reason I felt for sure that little bastard had rabies. Coons are like that when they get rabies. Ain't scared of nothing and ready to fight.you're absolutely right about the phone. The first thing I would have done is dropped that phone but I rarely have mine in my hand. I live my life as separated from that thing as I can.

    2. I was thinking it had a nest close by and was defending it. I am sure he or his wife fed the little birdies off that porch and that is what attracted it. I mean, if squirrels were a major recipient of rabies that wouldn't be eaten as much, nothing like good acorn fed squirrel with tators and red-eyed gravy...

    3. That could be the case. And yeah, I've ate plenty of squirrels. My grandmother used to give me the .22 and a handful of shells. She had 10 acres of pecan trees behind her house and she'd tell me, go get us some supper. I'd let one of the hunting dogs loose and we'd go get a batch of squirrel.
