Carolina Reaper and Pepper X peppers are much hotter. I've got a few plants of each & you can smell the heat across the yard & if you touch a pepper without gloves you can immediately feel the heat. I have no idea what I'm going to do with them.
Cayenne is about as hot as I use for anything. I don't do the hot pepper thing. I like my taste buds. I use cayenne and butter to make hot wings but that's as radical as I'm gonna do. I have some Bird's Eye pepper plants that I love but only because I love the look/shape of the plants.
I'm not even going to taste anything that has ghost peppers in the ingredient list. Not even going to pretend I like foods that make my eyebrows sweat.
