Somehow, IDK why, maybe because Grampa had a farm, cows, the occasional horse, I was always aware of the possibility of getting stepped on or kicked. To just go up and mess with a horse like that? He's lucky that horse was just saying Stoppit,,
ReplyDeleteYes sir. I milked cows when I was young and it only takes one time getting kicked to respect the way you approach and touch animals that are big enough to seriously hurt you. People have actually died from getting kicked by horses and other large hoofed animals.
DeleteThe glass table top - we've had several glass top patio tables with the umbrella in the middle. And even folded up, during windstorms it'll rattle around and then boom goes the glass and time for a new table. After the second time I said no more glass.
ReplyDeleteWe've only owned one glass top table and the one time I moved it out of the porch because we were redoing the floor and I left it outside. Later that day we had a sudden thunderstorm, it's Florida, and lightning hit the table and I don't think I've ever found all the glass. We replaced the top with some reclaimed old oak planks.
