This is old but it’s still hilarious and I am posting it again because Smollett was recently in court awaiting a final settlement. If you haven't seen it, WATCH IT.
Smollett was found guilty of perpetrating a racist, homophobic attack on himself in 2019 in Chicago accusing two white dudes in MAGA hats of beating him, putting a noose around his neck, and pouring bleach on him. He had paid some black men to assist him in this fake hate hoax. Chicago sued to recoup $130,000 in police overtime involved in the investigation. The original charges were dropped. A settlement is still being worked out.
