(Probably not much of a spoiler alert because the race is 3 days old.)
As pissed as I am with Nascar about the Prime deal for the next 4 races, I still want to watch the 600 and I found a YouTube channel with the entire race so I'm gonna watch it today. The whole time I'm irritated that I couldn't watch it on TV but at least I don't have to give Bezos any money to watch it, damn him.

Ever since Terry Labonte started driving for Hendricks, I've been a fan of that team. So I really wanted Byron to win but he gathered a massive amount of points in this race so he's still in a good spot as far as the chase goes. Other than the Hendricks team, Chastain is the other driver that I root for because he reminds me of Dale Earnhardt. Nascar has tried to beat the Earnhardt out of him but he still races like a man on a mission. As a bonus, I have always been a Chevy man when it comes to Nascar. And ANY race that Booger Wallace does badly in is a good race.
Being a Fan Council member I have been bitchin to Nascar since last year about pay per view. They threw the older fans under the bus trying to get younger viewers that car nothing about Nascar. I hope they learn after this year but I doubt it.
ReplyDeleteThey seem to not gaf about the heritage Nascar fans more and more every year. I'm hoping they lose money on this Prime crap. I'm NOT going to pay for Prime and I hope a lot of older fans feel the same way. Like you, I doubt they'll learn anything.

DeleteDidn't watch, didn't want too and I don't like advertisement and advertisement going 250 mph hour is not my idea of a good time. Give me an old fashioned dirt track super-modified and I am there on the front row getting oily and dirt covered and having a blast!
