That is true about farts in a surgical procedure with the lower abdomen, it does smell like that if you have a perforation... That egg and bacon sammich sure made me hungry this morning!
Two sentences that usually don't follow each other in conversation for sure ... but yeah, there's not much that can make me back off of a bacon and egg sammich.
I have a friend who was a plumber until he retired. He can make you back away from a perfect med-rare steak with some of the stuff he comes up with. I don't see him that often anymore and never at mealtime.
My mom was a nurse and my five other siblings and dad had a firm rule when we got together for a big family meals... My mother and me could not talk shop at the dinner table, nope and not even when visiting...
That's hilarious. People have NO idea what nurses actually have to deal with. My first wife was a ICU step-down nurse in Jacksonville. The stuff she saw ... I don't think I could have taken it. It takes a special kind of nerve to deal with blood and guts on a normal day but to deal with it every day ... hell no. Salute to nurses and first responders.
