I lost electricity and internet yesterday evening from a freak wind and hail event here in north Florida. The electricity was back on in seconds but I didn't get internet back up sometime this morning. It was nice and calm around 5 PM yesterday and within 30 minutes I was watching the oaks behind the house swaying in the wind ... and oaks don't usually sway ... wild wind ... and the next thing was about 30 minutes of marble sized hail. We had the short outage of power but it was on the whole time during the rest of the storm. Glad to wake up this morning and have internet.
