Update: I have just been informed after I got this ready to post that it could be a little harsh as there are rumors that Trudeau was ovulating on the day he made this speech.
In his characteristically slithery way, metrosexual Justin Trudeau is striking back at Trump for trolling him as the governor of the 51st state.
From Canada’s state-affiliated media:
“We were supposed to be on a steady, if difficult, march towards progress. And yet, just a few weeks ago, the United States voted for a second time to not elect its first woman president,” Trudeau said, adding that “women’s rights and women’s progress” are “under attack.”
By “women’s rights and women’s progress,” he appears to mean abortion.
It seems ironic that liberals talk about “women’s rights” and insist on letting biological men intrude on all biological women’s sports, restrooms, and personal spaces.
The comments could be interpreted as a thinly veiled swipe at U.S. president-elect Donald Trump. In his first term, Trump appointed Supreme Court justices who were intent on overturning abortion jurisprudence, something they ultimately did with the Dobbs vs. Jackson Women’s Health decision.
Careful with the swiping, Justin. You don’t want to go into a battle of wits unarmed.
It is doubtful that Trudeau will turn over his job to a woman, or even that he can define one.
