I have heard rumblings of something similar on the blogs, but, as they say, a friend of my enemy is my enemy too. It gives me purchase to shoot them too as an enemy combatant. Problem for them, is we were trained by "THEM" and know their doctrine, their training protocols and familiar with their weaponry and their ODAA loop. It won't be a fair, Queensbury Rules fight on our part. We learned how improvise too, and are generally more clever than sand Moslems...
Observe, Orient, Identify, Decide, Act. A problem solving tool that can render rapid solution options. Some do not include "Identify" as part of the scenario, which renders the acronym OODA. Observe there is a problem. Orient sensory resources to Identify the cause, association, and options. Decide on the preferred available option, and promptly Act on that solution. Apply this tool again to check for resolution. If the solution corrects the problem, carry on. If the problem persists, apply a different decision. An agile and knowledgeable mind can run multiple loops in parallel. Redundant, as most here know this well.
