Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. Neither pitch went well. When Obama is admitting there isn't the same enthusiasm for Harris and accusing black men of being sexist for not wanting to vote for her, they could have a problem. Then on top of that, Clinton admitted that Laken Riley was killed allegedly by an illegal alien because he wasn't properly vetted. But he was let in under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. So that was an indictment of Harris.
Then Harris spread a despicable lie about Trump freezing up and appearing lost because he stopped his event to get help for two people who had medical emergencies. She got nailed for that by the Trump team and even ABC debunked this by laying out the facts.
That's pretty off the rails. But she went even more off the tracks during an event Monday in Pennsylvania.
It's such a bizarre pitch that they're going with about "turning the page" and a "new way forward" when she's the one in office.
Is she not cognizant of the fact that she’s the V.P. and has been for almost four years.
They don't seem to understand how to deal with that fact.
Then she bizarrely tries to attack Trump, claiming he has "concepts of a plan." But Trump has a long list of clearly stated policies on his website, while she has trouble answering even basic questions, including what she would do differently from Joe Biden and the failure that she's been part of now.
(This one is really hard to watch, the cringe voice more so than the stupidity but all of it is worth a warning.)
She's as cringy as her running mate with this routine. This is not appealing to people, it just sounds bad and her voice is so hard to take.
Then she dove deep into the lies, trying to whip up fear about Trump because she has nothing else. She claimed Trump would "weaponize" the DOJ against political enemies.
Many termed that "projection" in response, especially in the face of the lawfare Trump has faced as well as the efforts to toss him off ballots.
But as she's going over the cliff, guess who wasn't there to go over with her? Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA), who's in a neck-and-neck race with Republican challenger Dave McCormick.
Harris said he was out doing "what he needs to do to get re-elected."
How funny is that? Did she realize what she was saying/admitting?
As many noted in response, doing what he "needs to do to get re-elected" apparently means not showing up to stand next to her.
Not a good look for Kamala.
