They do that aerial stocking up here in Oregon and Washington with the exception of salmon. Salmon has to be carefully introduced like that cat lady clerk with the gold trash fish. As a boy I raised aquarium fish (no goldfish) and I just dumbed them into the tank... Then harvested them into a small container, no bags, too easy to break, then sold them to fish stores.
ReplyDeleteThat stocking the from the air blows my mind. I wonder how many they lose that way. Is it a negligible amount? If they have small losses, it seems really efficient.
