WKRP in Cincinnati, a TV series about a radio station that switches format from easy listening to rock, makes its debut on CBS on September 18th 1978. It lasts four seasons.
Starring: Gordon Jump as Arthur Carlson, Gary Sandy as Andy Travis, Frank Bonner as Herb Tarlek, Richard Sanders as Les Nessman, Tim Reid as Venus Flytrap, Howard Hesseman as Dr. Johnny Fever, Jan Smithers as Bailey Quarters, Loni Anderson as Jennifer Marlowe.
I used to watch that religiously! I did have a soft spot for Baily Quarters... but it was a funny and entertaining show back when shows were starting the woke culture before woke became cool.
ReplyDeleteI loved it. And I preferred Baily over Loni too. Maybe I thought she would be more attainable ... rofl. We watched so many shows during our teens that wouldn't make it through the DEI or LGBTQ? or woke filters today.
