Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar's comments during Wednesday night's Democratic National Convention are not sitting well with fellow Texas sheriffs.

When Donald Trump comes down to Texas, stands next to officers in uniforms just like mine, he's not there to help us. Don't think that. Not for a second. He is a self-serving man. Now Kamala on the other hand, has been fighting border crime for years.
Terrell County Sheriff Thaddeus Cleveland is calling Sheriff Salazar out for bringing politics into the border situation.
“After watching Sheriff Salazar at the DNC last night, you know, I was taken aback," he said. "He's not a border sheriff. And to make those comments that about President Trump … and about Kamala Harris also ... both untrue.”
