Week # 2
So far the Florida teams haven't shown up for the games with their minds right. Miami isn't Florida, it's little Cuba. FSU plays their second game on Monday. I'll update again then.
Florida 2024 Proposed Amendment Ballot
Here are the proposed amendments, and a short explanation, that will be on the ballot in Florida in 2024 for those of you who live here.

IDF kills Wassem Hazem, head of Hamas in Jenin.
Wassem Hazem, head of the Hamas terror organization in the West Bank area of Jenin, was killed on Friday in a joint IDF, ISA, and Israel Border Police counterterrorism operation in the northern Samaria area, Israel’s military announced shortly afterward.
Hazem was killed in his vehicle after an exchange of fire during the joint operation. His role in the terror group involved carrying out and directing shooting and bombing attacks.
Hazem continuously advanced terrorist activities in the Judea and Samaria area, the IDF added.
Following the elimination of Hazem, two additional terrorists, Maysara Masharqa and Arafat Amer, who were in the vehicle with him, attempted to flee the scene. However, shortly afterward, they were also killed by an IDF aircraft.
If this don't rip at your heart ... you ain't got one.
The Elevator
On the third floor, the stranger and I reached the elevator at the same time.
When the door opened an older gentleman stepped out. The stranger and I made way out of etiquette.
The older gentleman had on leather house slippers, cargo shorts and a polo shirt. His hat was worn and the embroidery said "US Navy, Vietnam Veteran".
As he walked by us he was pointing at the numbered doors to the business condos and saying the room number out loud. I believe he said '2300' looking around. As the stranger and I stepped on the elevator, we heard the Veteran say "Oh 3". I held the door and looked out.
He was confused.
I said "Do you need the second floor?"
He smiled and came back on the elevator.
I knew.
As we stood in silence he reached for the panel and saw that '2' had already been pushed by the stranger.
The doors clunked shut.
I looked at him and said "Thank you for your service".
The stranger acknowledged as well.
The Vet said "You're welcome" with a smile.
The doors opened one floor down and he shuffled out reciting room numbers and pointing as he went.
I could hear him as the door started to close.
My hand stopped the door and I leaned out. "Are you all set?"
"Yes, Here it is, pointing at where he was going"
The door shut and I said to the stranger, "Sorry about that", meaning I held the door.
He replied "Not a problem at all"
I said "I watched my Dad go through dementia and early alzheimers"
He replied " I completely understand"
It was dusty in the elevator as the doors opened to the lobby.
"Have a good week" I said and he bid me the same.
It's dusty again, here, now.
Somewhere, out there, A Vietnam Vet, someone's Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather, loved one,
is slipping away.
The salt mine calls.

Everybody knows Trump has more experience with McDonalds than Komrade Kamala, who has never held an actual job before … NO, BJ’s don’t count.
(Somebody has been doing some serious digging lately to bring these old Trump works of art to life again, lol.)
This is impressive in this video that someone developed a way to follow these giant Asian hornets back to the nest by tying a piece of plastic to a adult while it is feeding on a piece of meat. The piece of plastic is large enough to follow with a drone so they can locate the nest and destroy it and the larvae and especially the queen. The size of the hornets is impressive but the size of the nest is mind blowing, if you’ve ever dug up a yellow jackets nest and thought you were seeing an impressive nest. I’ve dug up a yellow jackets nest that was about 20 inches across with several smaller layers, that’s nothing compared to these monstrosities.
All “You All” Can Eat.
When low IQ, lack of ethics, and entitlement culture “intersect,” you get this.
Newser-
A woman apparently took the All You Can Eat Special at Applebee’s to mean “All You and Your Friends Can Eat” and the tale of alleged sharing ended in chaos and arrest. As Local 12 reports, 28-year-old Shawneesha Cobbs of Chicago was with a group on Aug. 2 at an Applebee’s in Portage, Indiana, when she opted for the aforementioned $15.99 special. Problem being, NBC News reports, she allegedly shared her food with the rest of the table.
When a manager objected and billed Cobbs for two specials, the discussion got heated, with the group saying Applebee’s failed to specify “per person pricing,” though it is indeed specified on the menu. Cobbs then refused to pay the updated bill, and the cops were called. Things degraded from there, with a dispatcher hearing “multiple people screaming, threatening people.” Today reports police twice warned Cobbs she could be hit with a disorderly conduct charge but say she continued yelling, even when a friend tried to put a hand over her mouth. Cobbs was ultimately arrested on a misdemeanor charge.
The woman’s friend then went inside and paid the full tab “after realizing the menu stated the special was ‘per person,’” the report said.

Good morning
Warning: Graphic: Decapitation Death
RPG malfunction.
This is an excellent follow-up to what I posted earlier about the government intrusion on Americans desire to eat what TF they want without getting arrested.
There are agreements and disagreements about whether the cycle lasts 5 or 8 or whatever years but the sun goes through cycles and the sun dictates the weather on Earth. It's so damn simple you would think the "EXPERTS" would be able to figure it out. But the "EXPERTS" can't get grants for solving problems or questions ... they only get grants if the problem or questions persist. Thus, the "Climate Change" Cult/Hoax has to also persist.

Florida victorious in bid to strike down Title IX rewrite, injunction granted.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The U.S. 11th Circuit Court of Appeals granted Florida and other states an injunction against the Biden administration’s newly revised Title IX rule, which significantly broadens the definition of sex discrimination to include gender identity.
The ruling temporarily halts the enforcement of the rule within the plaintiff states, which include Florida, Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina.
“We will never allow the woke mob to infringe upon the safety and opportunities of women,” said Education Commissioner Manny Diaz Jr. “This injunction is one step closer to putting an end to the Biden Admin’s attack on women.”
The Biden administration’s changes to Title IX, a law originally enacted in 1972 to prevent sex-based discrimination in federally funded education programs, have faced strong opposition from several states and advocacy groups.
Opponents, such as Florida and Attorney General Ashley Moody, argue that the revised rule oversteps its bounds by expanding protections beyond what was originally intended under Title IX.
In its decision, the court highlighted that prior to this ruling, seven district courts and two other courts of appeals had already issued preliminary injunctions against the enforcement of the rule in various jurisdictions across the country.
The 11th Circuit’s ruling follows a similar trajectory, agreeing with the plaintiffs that the rule’s enforcement should be halted while the legal battle continues.
The injunction marks a significant victory for Florida and its allies, who have argued that the new Title IX provisions could undermine opportunities and safety for young girls and women in educational settings.
Gov. Ron DeSantis and Moody have both expressed their commitment to fighting the rule, saying that it poses a threat to women’s rights in sports and education.
The U.S. Department of Education, which promulgated the new rule, now faces a setback as the case proceeds through the courts.
The administration has defended the rule as a necessary update to reflect modern understandings of gender and sexual identity, aiming to ensure that all students receive equal protection under the law.
The injunction remains in place as the legal challenges against the Title IX revisions continue.

Help Desk, how may I help your dumb ass?
Okay, this is an old one and you’ve probably seen it before. If not, you’ll understand why some of the Help Desk people have that ‘don’t give a shit’ attitude.
Supposedly, this is a true story from the WordPerfect Helpline, which was transcribed from a recording monitoring the customer care department.
IF this is true the operator should have been promoted, not fired, IMHO.
Needless to say the Help Desk employee was fired; however, he/she was suing the WordPerfect organization for ‘Termination without Cause.’
Alleged actual dialogue of a former WordPerfect Customer Support employee.
(Now I know why they record these conversations!):
Operator: ‘Ridge Hall, computer assistance; may I help you?’
Caller: ‘Yes, well, I’m having trouble with WordPerfect .’
Operator: ‘What sort of trouble?’
Caller: ‘Well, I was just typing along, and all of a sudden the words went away.’
Operator: ‘Went away?’
Caller: ‘They disappeared’
Operator: ‘Hmm. So what does your screen look like now?’
Caller: ‘Nothing.’
Operator: ‘Nothing??’
Caller: ‘It’s blank; it won’t accept anything when I type.’
Operator: ‘Are you still in WordPerfect, or did you get out?’
Caller: ‘How do I tell?’
Operator: ‘Can you see the ‘C: prompt’ on the screen?’
Caller: ‘What’s a sea-prompt?’
Operator: ‘Never mind, can you move your cursor around the screen?’
Caller: ‘There isn’t any cursor; I told you, it won’t accept anything I type.’
Operator: ‘Does your monitor have a power indicator?’
Caller: ‘What’s a monitor?’
Operator: ‘It’s the thing with the screen on it that looks like a TV. Does it have a little light that tells you when it’s on?’
Caller: ‘I don’t know.’
Operator: ‘Well, then look on the back of the monitor and find where the power cord goes into it. Can you see that??’
Caller: ‘Yes, I think so.’
Operator: ‘Great. Follow the cord to the plug, and tell me if it’s plugged into the wall..
Caller: ‘Yes, it is.’
Operator: ‘When you were behind the monitor, did you notice that there were two cables plugged into the back of it, not just one? ‘
Caller: ‘No.’
Operator: ‘Well, there are. I need you to look back there again and find the other cable.’
Caller: ‘Okay, here it is.’
Operator: ‘Follow it for me, and tell me if it’s plugged securely into the back of your computer..’
Caller: ‘I can’t reach.’
Operator: ‘OK. Well, can you see if it is?’
Caller: ‘No…’
Operator: ‘Even if you maybe put your knee on something and lean way over?’
Caller: ‘Well, it’s not because I don’t have the right angle — it’s because it’s dark.’
Operator: ‘Dark?’
Caller: ‘Yes – the office light is off, and the only light I have is coming in from the window.’
Operator: ‘Well, turn on the office light then.’
Caller: ‘I can’t..’
Operator: ‘No? Why not?’
Caller: ‘Because there’s a power failure.’
Operator: ‘A power …. A power failure? Aha. Okay, we’ve got it licked now. Do you still have the boxes and manuals and packing stuff that your computer came in?’
Caller: ‘Well, yes, I keep them in the closet..’
Operator: ‘Good. Go get them, and unplug your system and pack it up just like it was when you got it. Then take it back to the store you bought it from.’
Caller: ‘Really? Is it that bad?’
Operator: ‘Yes, I’m afraid it is.’
Caller: ‘Well, all right then, I suppose. What do I tell them?’
Operator: ‘Tell them you’re too damned stupid to own a computer!’
Definitely sounds like Trump and the hand movements and facial expressions belong to Trump. I’ll give him a 9. His name is Shane Gillis. This is a very short clip, it's hard to find his Trump impressions on Google or YouTube because those Democratically influenced organizations, you know, hate Trump.
This case has been going on for years. The government overreach in cases concerning natural foods is insane. I think Robert F. Kennedy Jr. would help to destroy tyranny like this.
UPDATE: Loran Cole was pronounced dead at 6:15 P.M. Aug 29, 2024 ... finally.
It’s a damn shame us Floridians had to pay to feed and house this verified POS for 30 years. There should be a limit of two appeals and a limit of five years in death sentence cases.
I will update this post as soon as I read that he has ceased to use oxygen.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – A Florida man convicted of killing a college freshman and raping the student's sister while the siblings camped in a national forest 30 years ago is scheduled to be executed Thursday.
Loran Cole is set to be put to death just after 6 p.m. at Florida State Prison for the 1994 killing. Cole is also serving two life sentences for rape. The U.S. Supreme Court denied Cole's final appeal earlier Thursday.
According to court records, Cole and a friend, William Paul, befriended the two college students in the Ocala National Forest. After talking around a fire, the men offered to take the siblings to see a pond. While away from the campsite, Cole and Paul jumped the victims and robbed them.
The brother, 18, who was a student at Florida State University, was beaten, had his throat slit and left in the forest. His sister, who was 21 and a senior at Eckerd College, was taken back to the campsite, where Cole tied her up and raped her.
The woman was left tied to a tree overnight and raped again the next day. She eventually managed to free herself and flag down a driver for help. Police found her brother’s body lying face down on the ground, according to court records.
Gov. Ron DeSantis signed the death warrant for Cole last month.
Lawyers for Cole, 57, raised several points in their appeal, including the fact that Cole was an inmate at a state-run reform school where he and other boys were beaten and raped. The state has since apologized for the abuse and this year passed a law authorizing reparations for inmates at the now-shuttered reform school.
Cole's lawyers also argued that he shouldn't be executed because he suffers from brain damage, is mentally ill and has Parkinson's disease.
The state Supreme Court rejected the defense's arguments.
Paul and Cole were convicted of first-degree murder. Paul was sentenced to life .
The execution will be the first in Florida since Michael Zack was put to death last October for the 1996 killing of Ravonne Smith.
