BREAKING: Shooter Identified in Trump Assassination Attempt.

An attempted assassination of Donald Trump failed on Saturday after a shooter struck him in the ear. Now, we know who the shooter was.
According to multiple reports, he has been identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, a native of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.
No information about Crooks' background has been released as of this writing. By Sunday, his social media accounts (if they exist) will no doubt have been combed over.
During a press conference held Saturday night, however, FBI officials said they could not confirm the shooter's identity.
He was killed by Secret Service snipers. An AR-style rifle was recovered.
Bethel Park is a village 40 miles south of where the Butler rally was held.
According to state voter status records, Crooks was a registered Republican although he donated to Joe Biden through ACTBLUE on Inauguration day 2021.
Why Crooks fired on the presumptive Republican presidential nominee is unclear.
Early Sunday the FBI officially confirmed the Post’s reporting, calling Crooks the “subject involved” in the attack on Trump.
