Her: Where TF have you been ALL NIGHT ?!?
Me: I was in the Emergency Room ALL NIGHT !!!
Her: OMG, I’m sorry, are you ok ?!?
Me: I was suffering from some pent up anxiety … but I’m feeling much better now …
A strip club in Texas named 'The Emergency Room' has sparked fears among residents that people seeking medical care will mistake it for a real hospital.
The strip club in San Antonio is not yet open but its signage is up and is causing concern.
Residents and local officials have complained to the owner that they fear it will attract the wrong crowd.
City development services director Michael Shannon told Ken 5 he had spoken to the residents and thought their fears were justified.
‘Someone brought that up and said someone could be confused to think it is an emergency clinic or a hospital-type facility, we could see that a little bit.
'It's kind of in that gray area so we want them to be clear,' he said.
The sign includes the club's name, written in black letters, and two female silhouettes draped seductively on the ground.
There is a red cross above the name and beneath it, the words 'gentlemen's lounge' are written in smaller, paler text.
The club is still advertising for staff. It has not publicly responded to criticism over its name.
