Starling Murmuration In Italy
I’ve seen videos of starling murmurations before but this is one of the larger, more impressive ones I’ve seen. There are several ‘explanations’ about why they do this but I know one reason is they use it to confuse predators like schooling fish do.
At :11 far right and at :35 center right you can see a larger bird, probably a hawk slowly cruising/hunting.
