 In 1953, Norma Jean Dougherty, who by this time was known as Marilyn Monroe, appeared on the Jack Benny Show.

Because of her contract with FOX, she wasn't allowed to receive cash for the appearance. Jack Benny got around the rules by buying her this black 1954 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible w/Eldorado wire wheels.
