I really thought this was photoshopped before I looked around a little:
1937 - 1940 Brauks-8 735cc
These little cars were built by George Brauks from St. Louis, MO. He built his own 130 cubic inch flathead straight 8 engine, the body was made by shortening and narrowing an unknown sedan then adding the front sheetmetal from a 1937 Hudson Terraplane. The rear part seems to be a 1936 DeSoto. The entire car was narrowed lengthwise on the centerline to create a narrow body width.
The first photo is from Bozeman, MT at the Cruisin’ on Main car show.
