1977 Dodge Top Hand Special Edition

The Top Hand package includes custom graphics custom wheels winch chrome tow hooks push bar/grill guard Cibie lights front and rear axle truss rods step plates 3" roll bar bed rails bed mounted spare tire.
There are other picture but most of the pictures below are of the pair offered by Hemmings
in 2020 and I don’t know the results but the step-side supposedly only brought around $60,000..
There were only 202 authentic Top Hand Special Editions sold. There were some after market kits sold but the decals and extras were different per trademark regulations.

The step-side 4x4 was powered by the original 440 cubic inch 4 bbl V8 and mated to an automatic transmission with AT PS PB AC. The Top Hand package was created by off road legend Vic Hickey and the Top Hand Edition was built only at Hickey Enterprises’ facility. This Top Hand step-side was originally used by Dodge for promotional purposes. it was given by Dodge to Chuck Connors T.V.’s “Rifleman.” It was featured in the Jan. ’78 issue of Off Road magazine.
There were a total of 202 Top Hand packages produced.
The Plymouth Trailduster Top Hand is the ONLY Trailduster Top Hand produced at Hickey Enterprises.
