1962 - Bobby 'Boris' Pickett And The Crypt Kickers and the "Monster Mash" rules the airwaves, becoming the most popular Halloween song of all time.


1964 - ”Baby Love" by The Supremes goes to No. 1 in America, giving them their second chart-topper, following "Where Did Our Love Go”, and making them the first Motown act with two No. 1 hits.

 

1970 - Led Zeppelin started a four week run at No. 1 on the US album chart with Led Zeppelin III, the bands second US chart topper.
