The Real Enemy of the Palestinians: Hamas
When you make a bargain with the devil, death quickly follows. (I wish that were true.)

President Joe Biden has been pushing for a “humanitarian pause” in the conflict between Hamas and Israel. At a news conference with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, the president continued to urge the “two-state solution” and preserving the “dignity and self-determination” of the Palestinian people. Team Biden doesn’t want the humanitarian toll to spur the surrounding Middle Eastern co-ideologists to enter into the fray, ergo food, gas, water, and medical aid need to be increased in Gaza.
What Biden and his administration either ignorantly or willfully have ignored is that the Palestinians are in no fit state to either receive aid or contemplate a two-state solution. They are in no fit state because, ideologically, most of them do not want a two-state solution; they want a Jewish genocide. They proved this when they elected Hamas to rule them. Since 2006, Hamas has “governed” the Gaza Strip and it’s still a popular leading party. The Palestinians both hate and need Hamas because Hamas is realizing their own goals.
The Palestinians, like many in the Middle East, believe that all the land therein belongs to Allah. Israel and Judaism are significantly older than Islam, and the Jews have a far older claim to the land of Israel than the Palestinians do. But a Jewish state stands squarely in the Islamists’ way. The Israel-Hamas conflict is, at its root, a religious war. But the price the Palestinians are paying for their devil’s bargain is excruciatingly high.
Hamas uses its own people as human shields. Hamas would not allow its people to flee to the south, out of the way of Israeli airstrikes. Hamas wants the images of dead and traumatized children to be plastered on the news so that Israel is pressured by disingenuous “allies” to stop. Hamas’s leadership will even tell the West this to its face.
Former Hamas leader Khaled Mashal recently claimed that Hamas knew what it was stirring up when it invaded Israel and that “no nation is liberated without sacrifices.” Mashal spoke like he was there in Gaza defending his people. Nope. He, like the rest of the Hamas leadership, lives like a millionaire in Qatar, safely away from the consequences that their actions set in motion.
How exactly did the Hamas leadership get their money? They stole it directly from the Palestinian people by extorting it, or they were given it by co-ideologues like Iran. Gaza has a 47% unemployment rate, and starving people live in abject poverty, yet Hamas is hoarding all the resources. Its terrorists take all the goods coming in from foreign aid, and instead of using those goods to build a successful country, they use them to prepare for war. The terrorists also dig up water pipes to use them as makeshift rocket launchers, and any concrete that comes in doesn’t go toward damaged buildings; it goes toward creating more miles of tunnels under the schools and hospitals.
Hamas has taken so much from the Palestinian people that hospitals are desperate for more resources now that Israel has started its counterattack.
Yet this is what the Palestinian people chose for themselves. They are so blinded by their hate for Israel — hate that has festered for generations — that they have been driven mad with bloodlust. As former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir once wrote: “We will perhaps in time be able to forgive the Arabs for killing our sons, but it will be harder for us to forgive them for having forced us to kill their sons. Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us.”
Gaza is not there. Frankly, Iran, Syria, Yemen, Tunisia, Kuwait, Turkey, and many more co-conspirators in that region are right there with Hamas. They will happily sacrifice every last Gaza native if that means their hatred of the Jews can be indulged.

Florida leaders gather for pro-Israel event, condemn Hamas at Jacksonville City Hall.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Rep. Dean Black, R-Jacksonville, hosted a pro-Israel event in front of Jacksonville City Hall Monday to support Israel and condemn Hamas.

Black was joined by other Florida leaders including: Sen. Clay Yarborough, R-Jacksonville, Rep. Jessica Baker, R-Jacksonville, Jacksonville City Councilmen Nick Howland and Ken Amaro, Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters, U.S. Republican Reps. Aaron Bean, John Rutherford, and other elected officials.
Dozens of community members also attended the event.
“The truth is, Israel is not guilty of any genocide,” Black said. “This is Hamas’ fault. They started the war. The killing didn’t stop. All that is necessary is for Hamas to surrender.”
Black told Florida’s Voice that Jewish people are God’s “chosen people.”
“But notwithstanding that, they [Israel] were attacked by a vicious terrorist organization who didn’t kill civilians inadvertently in defending themselves, they launched a war of aggression and it was against civilians purposefully, that’s evil, that’s wrong,” Black said.
Black said that people should be able to “fight evil” and “stand with righteousness” and that narrative is “getting turned on its head in the media.” He said the Florida leaders gathered Monday because they “need to turn that right side up.”
A group of counter-protesters stood in support of Palestine during the event, yelling chants including “free Palestine.”
Bean pointed to the counter-protestors and asked “what the heck are our higher institutions doing anyway?”
He said the counter-protestors are “the product” of the higher education system and there is work to “clean up” in the education system.
“Sometimes to face down people that have no idea what they’re talking about, it can get a little uncomfortable, do you know what I’m saying Northeast Florida?” Bean said, referring to counter-protestors.
Dozens of protests supporting Hamas’ actions on Israel have taken place at Florida colleges and universities since the attacks on Israel.
In response to the pro-Hamas protests at colleges and universities, Gov. Ron DeSantis and State University System Chancellor Ray Rodrigues have ordered universities to dismantle various student chapters that have been aligned with support for “Hamas terrorism.”
Bean pointed to the 7,000 rockets launched into Israel and Hamas targeting innocent civilians. He said on Oct. 7, Hamas murdered more than 1,400 innocent civilians and “slaughtered” them in “the most inhumane way possible.”
“Over 4,500 Israeli citizens that were injured that day, we have over 220 taken hostage. Grandmas, how about that? Who does that? I’ll tell you who does that, evil does that. That’s what evil does,” Bean said.
Howland said Israel is the “only democracy in the region” with the right to defend itself and “destroy Hamas.”
“That is the only solution to protect innocent Israelis and Palestinians. That is the only solution for peace,” Howland said.
Rutherford pointed to Israel being the United State’s ally and partner.
“Now therefore be it resolved that the House of Representatives stands with Israel as it defends itself against the barbaric war launched by Hamas and other terrorists,” Rutherford said.
Following the event, Florida’s Voice asked Black what his thoughts were regarding the counter-protesters and he said they are “misguided.”
“I don’t know how you can stand with an organization that burned women and children alive, an organization that beheaded civilians,” Black said. “I don’t know what to say about that, but we know where we stand and we made that point clear today.”
Black announced that Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., sent his regards for the event and sent a letter expressing his support. Black read the end of Scott’s letter during the event, which said the following:
“We stand with Israel and believe that every American ally and partner must quickly condemn the invasion and acts of horror by Hamas. My office stands ready to help and urges any Floridian with knowledge of an American in need to contact us immediately.”
Black said Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., also sent his regards and a letter of support. Black read the ending of Rubio’s letter:
“Israel will need us in the days, weeks and months ahead and we will be there for them just as you are all here today. We remain united for Israel.”

Unfortunately, this bill will never pass, the Democrats would rather die than give up a laundry payment to Ukraine AND/OR take funds away from a government agency that they drool over. (IRS)

House Republicans release bill to send aid to Israel and how they pay for it is awesome (whatever, it’s fiscally responsible and economically sound)
House Republicans have released their bill today to send $14.3 billion in aid to Israel, with no Ukraine money, and they ensure that the Israel funding is 100% paid for with cuts to something else.
It’s that ‘something else’ that has gotten me excited to write this article.
Republicans chose to cut $14.3 billion from IRS funding in Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act that had nothing to do with reducing inflation.

The bill: https://punchbowl.news/file_5406/

Of course it will never fly. But when know you’re going up against leftist loons in the Senate and the White House, you don’t start with something they’ll accept because if you do, you’ve already lost. That’s what RINOs like John Boehner and Paul Ryan do. No, in order to get what you want you must start in a place that gives you leverage and that’s what this bill does. I love it. It sounds like we finally have Speaker of the House who understands how to negotiate with Democrats.

I previously shared a short article explains the use of these “Sponge Bombs” never knowing if they would actually be deployed inside Gaza.

Israel Deploying Special Weapon To Deal With Hamas Inside Tunnels: Report.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will reportedly deploy a new weapon to trap and seal off Hamas terrorists inside the hundreds of miles of underground tunnels that they hide in underneath Gaza.
The Telegraph reported that the IDF will use “sponge bombs” to fight the terrorist group responsible for massacring 1,400 Israelis and wounding 5,300+ in an unprecedented terror attack earlier this month.
Sponge bombs, which Israel has reportedly been using in training exercises over the last two years, are chemical bombs that when detonated rapidly expands into a foam that quickly hardens.
The sponge bombs would allow Israel to prevent Hamas from ambushing them as they move through Gaza since they will be able to seal off entire sections of tunnel.
“Contained in a plastic container, the specialist devices have a metal partition separating two liquids,” the report said. “Once this barrier is extracted, the compounds mix as the soldier positions the ‘bomb’ or throws it further ahead.”
IDF engineering specialists are able to detect where the tunnels are located via “ground and aerial sensors, ground penetrating radar and special drilling systems,” the report said.
Sponge bombs are reportedly hazardous to work with as some soldiers have been blinded by mishandling the liquid mixture.
Underground warfare more closely resembles fighting underwater than fighting inside a building, according to John Spencer, a former US major who chairs urban warfare studies at the Modern War Institute at West Point.
“Nothing that is used on the surface works in the same way or with the same efficiency underground,” he said. “Specialized equipment is needed to see, to breathe, to navigate, to map the space, to communicate and to deploy lethal means.”

Jen Psaki Mocks Mike Johnson’s Christian Faith.

Former White House Press Secretary and current MSNBC host Jen Psaki slammed new House Speaker Mike Johnson for his evangelical Christianity, saying his political ideology should “scare us.”
Speaking to Fox News, Johnson had said, “I am a Bible-believing Christian. Someone asked me today in the media; they said, ‘It’s curious; people are curious. What does Mike Johnson think about any issue under the sun?’ I said, ‘Well, go pick up a Bible off your shelf and read it.’ That’s my worldview.”
In his first speech as House Speaker, Johnson stated:
I believe that scripture, the Bible, is very clear that God is the one that raises up those in authority. He raised up each of you. All of us. And I believe that God has allowed and ordained each and every one of us to be here at this specific moment. This is my belief. I believe that each one of us has a huge responsibility today to use the gifts God has given us to serve the extraordinary people of this great nation, and they deserve it.
“You heard that right,” Psaki quavered on MSNBC. “The Bible doesn’t just inform his worldview, it is his worldview. In fact, during his first speech in his new job, Johnson suggested that his election as speaker was an act of God. Talk about a bit of a ‘humblebrag’ there. So what exactly has God apparently called on Mike Johnson to do? Well, his views on policy are essentially what you’d expect from a religious fundamentalist. They’re more divisive than they are divine.
“But it’s not just his political ideology that should scare us,” Psaki wrote on the MSNBC website. “Johnson is basically a Christian fundamentalist. He believes that America is a Christian nation, and that those values should be reflected in our interpretation of the Constitution.”
“His ideas of what America should be are completely out of line with what America actually is,” she insisted.
Johnson’s Christian faith was forged at the age of 12, in September 1984. He was the oldest child of firefighter James “Pat” Johnson, who went into a warehouse to cap a leak. An explosion left Pat Johnson with burns over 80% of his body and he was given a 10% chance to live. His recovery after six operations and numerous infections inspired his son, who recalled in 2015, “I saw an actual miracle of my father surviving when they said that he shouldn’t. It made me a person of very deep faith.”
“His personal commitment to Jesus Christ is at the core of who he is and the foundation of the work he does,” Gene Mills, the president of Louisiana Family Forum, the state’s top faith-based conservative group, stated of Johnson.

DeSantis On Unfolding Chaos Around The World: ‘Political Correctness Will End This Country If We Don’t Stop.’

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis warned over then weekend that the U.S. needed to take its political correctness problem seriously — otherwise the woke mindset will be the death of the country — as elites push to import people whose ideologies and values are radically at odds with the country.
DeSantis made the remarks during a speech primarily about Israel on Saturday at the Republican Jewish Coalition Leadership Summit in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The 45-year-old said that support for Israel and the Jewish people is “personal” for him as he proceeded to highlight his record on supporting Jewish communities in the state, clamping down on anti-Semitism on college campuses, helping evacuate people out of Israel following the October 7 attacks, and sending a significant amount of supplies to the country.
He announced that he has called the legislature back in for a special session in the next couple of weeks to “expand our state-based sanctions against the Iranian regime.”
“We already have some of the strongest in the United States, we now have an ability to expand those because the money that’s going into Iran, they’re not using it to make the lives of their people better,” he continued. “They’re using it to fund terrorism throughout the Middle East. So we’re standing up and we’re doing what’s right. And again, this is about leading not with mere words, but deeds. And we’ve done that time and time again.”
He also noted that the attack on Israel happened in part because its border defenses were overrun — and said that should serve as a serious wake up call to the U.S. to secure its border with Mexico.
“I was also the first candidate to say that we in the United States cannot accept refugees from the Gaza Strip,” he said. “And here’s the thing. We got to start looking at these issues with clear eyes. Political correctness will end this country if we don’t stop doing it. And I said you don’t want the Gaza. And what they said was, ‘well, they’re not all Hamas’. Well, look, they elected Hamas. Let’s just be clear. They were cheering for Hamas when Hamas perpetrated this attack, just like they cheered when Al Qaeda knocked down the Twin Towers. They were cheering Palestinian Arabs when that happened.”
“The question isn’t whether you’re all Hamas,” he continued. “The question is, do they teach young kids to hate Jews? Yes. Do they teach young kids that Israel should be wiped off the map? Actually, do they even have Israel in the map on their textbooks? No, it’s not even there. So it’s not a question of whether you’re actually a terrorist or whether you’re a member of Hamas or not. We can’t vet all this stuff out. What I do know is if you bring in hundreds of thousands like people like AOC and the squad want, you will be importing toxic ideology and the pathologies of the Gaza strip into our own country. That is not what the American people deserve. It is not in the American people’s interest to do that.”
“And so we’ve got to get smart about how we handle who comes into our country,” he said. “Europe, what they have done by bringing massive amounts of people into their country, from the Middle East over the last 10 or 15 years, have those people assimilated into what–? No, they’re bringing the same blood feuds that they’re leaving in the Middle East, and they’re replenishing them in places like Britain, in places like Germany. Germany, has more antisemitism today than at any time since Adolf Hitler and it is because they’ve been reckless with who they’ve let into this country. So no more political correctness. We’ve got to be smart about what we’re doing. And we can’t be importing problems from other parts of the country, particularly when you hate Jews and you don’t want Israel to exist. I’m not taking you in, if that’s your position, so just be clear.”
He said that Israel has the legal right to “go full tilt” against the terrorists who committed the October 7 massacre and he called on U.S. officials to “toughen up” and have Israel’s back.

 On This Date In History

On October 31, 1517, legend has it that the priest and scholar Martin Luther approaches the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany, and nails a piece of paper to it containing the 95 revolutionary opinions that would begin the Protestant Reformation.
In his theses, Luther condemned the excesses and corruption of the Roman Catholic Church, especially the papal practice of asking payment, called “indulgences”, for the forgiveness of sins. At the time, a Dominican priest named Johann Tetzel, commissioned by the Archbishop of Mainz and Pope Leo X, was in the midst of a major fundraising campaign in Germany to finance the renovation of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. Though Prince Frederick III the Wise had banned the sale of indulgences in Wittenberg, many church members traveled to purchase them. When they returned, they showed the pardons they had bought to Luther, claiming they no longer had to repent for their sins.
Luther’s frustration with this practice led him to write the 95 Theses, which were quickly snapped up, translated from Latin into German and distributed widely. A copy made its way to Rome, and efforts began to convince Luther to change his tune. He refused to keep silent, however, and in 1521 Pope Leo X formally excommunicated Luther from the Catholic Church. That same year, Luther again refused to recant his writings before the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V of Germany, who issued the famous Edict of Worms declaring Luther an outlaw and a heretic and giving permission for anyone to kill him without consequence. Protected by Prince Frederick, Luther began working on a German translation of the Bible, a task that took 10 years to complete.
The term “Protestant” first appeared in 1529, when Charles V revoked a provision that allowed the ruler of each German state to choose whether they would enforce the Edict of Worms. A number of princes and other supporters of Luther issued a protest, declaring that their allegiance to God trumped their allegiance to the emperor. They became known to their opponents as Protestants; gradually this name came to apply to all who believed the Church should be reformed, even those outside Germany. By the time Luther died, of natural causes, in 1546, his revolutionary beliefs had formed the basis for the Protestant Reformation, which would over the next three centuries revolutionize Western civilization.

On October 31, 1864, anxious to have support of the Republican-dominated Nevada Territory for President Abraham Lincoln’s reelection, the U.S. Congress quickly admits Nevada as the 36th state in the Union.
In 1864, Nevada had only 40,000 inhabitants, considerably short of the 60,000 normally required for statehood. But the 1859 discovery of the incredibly large and rich silver deposits at Virginia City had rapidly made the region one of the most important and wealthy in the West. The inexpert miners who initially developed the placer gold deposits at Virginia City had complained for some time about the blue-gray gunk that kept clogging up their gold sluices. Eventually several of the more experienced miners realized that the gunk the gold miners had been tossing aside was actually rich silver ore, and soon after, they discovered the massive underground silver deposit called the Comstock Lode. Unlike the easily developed placer deposits that had inspired the initial gold rushes to California and Nevada, the Comstock Lode ore demanded a wide array of expensive new technologies for profitable development. For the first time, western mining began to attract investments from large eastern capitalists, and these powerful men began to push for Nevada statehood.
The decisive factor in easing the path to Nevada’s statehood was President Lincoln’s proposed 13th Amendment banning slavery. Throughout his administration Lincoln had appointed territorial officials in Nevada who were strong Republicans, and he knew he could count on the congressmen and citizens of a new state of Nevada to support him in the coming presidential election and to vote for his proposed amendment. Since time was so short, the Nevada constitutional delegation sent the longest telegram on record up to that time to Washington, D.C., containing the entire text of the proposed state constitution and costing the then astronomical sum of $3,416.77.
Their speedy actions paid off with quick congressional approval of statehood and the new state of Nevada did indeed provide strong support for Lincoln. On January 31, 1865, Congress approved the 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution banning slavery.

On October 31, 1776, in his first speech before British Parliament since the leaders of the American Revolution came together to sign of the Declaration of Independence that summer, King George III acknowledges that all was not going well for Britain in the war with the United States.
In his address, the king spoke about the signing of the U.S. Declaration of Independence and the revolutionary leaders who signed it, saying, “for daring and desperate is the spirit of those leaders, whose object has always been dominion and power, that they have now openly renounced all allegiance to the crown, and all political connection with this country.” The king went on to inform Parliament of the successful British victory over General George Washington and the Continental Army at the Battle of Long Island on August 27, 1776, but warned them that, “notwithstanding the fair prospect, it was necessary to prepare for another campaign.”
Despite George III’s harsh words, General William Howe and his brother, Admiral Richard Howe, still hoped to convince the Americans to rejoin the British empire in the wake of the colonists’ humiliating defeat at the Battle of Long Island. The British could easily have prevented Washington’s retreat from Long Island and captured most of the Patriot officer corps, including the commander in chief. However, instead of forcing the former colonies into submission by executing Washington and his officers as traitors, the Howe brothers let them go with the hope of swaying Patriot opinion towards a return to the mother country.
The Howe brothers’ attempts at negotiation failed, and the War for Independence dragged on for another four years, until the formal surrender of the British to the Americans on October 19, 1781, after the Battle of Yorktown.

I know that it’s a very painful thought to entertain and it’s not the perfect answer but at this point in time, why do we even have ‘Women’s Sports’ at all? If 'transfreakmen' are allowed to compete as Women, we should just have ‘Sports’…where the freaks can’t prevail in a single event because all of the biological Men that will be entered. We know that most of these 'transfakes' are just competing against Women because they are losers in their biological category ... maybe there's a few that are just freaks and/or perverts. It’s a sad, sad, state of affairs for Women’s rights and Women writ large. Until Women just agree to walk out of any event that transfakemen in leotards can enter, this perversion will continue. Maybe one day, “Science’ will prevail and common sense will regain a foothold and Biological Men and Biological Women will be able to compete again. Maybe they just need to have three categories … but we all know that won’t ever happen because nobody will fund the pervert category.

The 'SPONGE bomb' Israel are hoping to use to disable Hamas tunnels: New gadget expands and hardens, filling underground passageways.

Israeli troops could be planning to disable Hamas tunnels and trap the terrorists underground using innovative 'sponge bombs'.
How to deal with concealed fighters hiding in the myriad of tunnels under Gaza will be one the main concerns for the Israel Defence Force (IDF) when they begin their long-promised ground offensive into the besieged city.
And according to some reports, a secret new weapon dubbed the 'sponge bomb' could see deployment for the first time.
Troops are said to have used the handheld devices at the Israeli military's 'mini Gaza', a mock-up of the urban warren where they will soon be expected to fight constructed at the Urban Warfare Training Center in the Negev desert.
According to the Telegraph, the bombs feature a metal partition separating the two volatile liquids, which immediately react when they touch.
The material is said to be so hazardous that Israeli troops were blinded during practise sessions.
Foam and even slime have often been considered for their potential military utility, but results have been modest.
American troops used guns shooting ultra-sticky foam as a non-lethal way to disable rioters while on deployment in Somalia in the mid-1990s, although results are said to have been mixed.
However, any weapon, no matter how experimental, could be crucial if Israel does indeed intend to enter the tunnels.
The estimate that they stretch hundreds of kilometres is widely accepted by security analysts, even though the blockaded coastal strip is only 40km (25 miles) long.
And while Hamas is naturally secretive about their networks, the recently released Israeli hostage Yocheved Lifshitz, 85, said: 'It looked like a spider's web, many, many tunnels', adding: 'We walked kilometres under the ground.'
