1960 Willys Station Wagon 4×4 - Charity Sale - No Reserve - Current Bid: $10,500 - Ends in 7 days.

This 1960 Willys station wagon is powered by a 134ci “Hurricane” inline-four mated to a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck was refurbished under previous ownership, and work involved refinishing the body in yellow with a white roof as well as refreshing the interior in brown leather upholstery. Additional equipment includes white-finished 16″ steel wheels, four-wheel drum brakes, manually locking front hubs, a split tailgate, and an Audiovox AM/FM cassette stereo. The truck was acquired by the seller in March 2023, and service performed in preparation for the sale involved replacing the ignition coil and points along with the front wheel cylinders. This Willys is now offered at no reserve in Idaho with a car cover, spare parts, and an Arizona title in the seller’s name. The total sale amount, including the BaT buyer’s fee, will be donated to Piston Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps young technicians build rewarding careers in the collector car industry by funding programs in the skilled trades.

The truck was repainted yellow under previous ownership and features a white roof, pinstriping, and bumpers. Dual side mirrors are affixed to the A-pillars, and further exterior details include a cowl vent, chrome-finished trim, 4-Wheel-Drive badging, and a split tailgate. Imperfections in the finish are pictured in the gallery.
Steel 16″ wheels are finished in white and mounted with 255/85 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires, while a spare is stored in the rear cargo area. The truck is equipped with manually-locking front hubs, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes. Service performed in May 2023 included replacing the front wheel cylinders as well as adjusting the brakes and refreshing the brake fluid. The seller notes play in the steering.
The refreshed interior features front and rear split bench seating upholstered in brown leather that extends to the door panels. Black rubber floor linings are fitted up front, while a white spray-on liner and wood slats top the rear floors. Additional appointments include a heater, a Willys-branded shift ball, a passenger grab handle, and an Audiovox AM/FM cassette player.
A two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a body-color dashboard housing a 90-mph speedometer as well as AutoMeter gauges monitoring oil pressure and voltage. The combination gauge readouts are non-functional, and aftermarket 12-volt gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature were installed below the dash in June 2023. The five-digit odometer does not work and shows 300 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 134ci “Hurricane” inline-four is fitted with an aluminum radiator and was factory-rated at 75 horsepower. Service performed in 2022 is said to have involved replacing the electric fuel pump, fuel tank, and starter, while work completed in 2023 included replacing the ignition coil, points, and coolant temperature sensor. A replacement battery was fitted in preparation for the sale. An intermittent failure of the starter to engage the flywheel is noted.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The overdrive unit is said to have been replaced in 2022.
Various spare parts will accompany the sale.
The reproduction data plate displays serial number 5414816623, which matches the VIN on the title. The current Arizona title carries a Not Actual mileage notation.
