The best bet, imho, is when you "see ANY of the signs", ESPECIALLY 'ANGRY,' 'IRRITABLE,' 'BITCHY,' ETC., just plan on keeping quiet, sleep on the couch or the guest bed, and when she says anything, just say, "no comment."
