The Trump Campaign Releases New Ad
It’s a pretty decent ad.
(Hostin is just another radical leftist bitch who is so jealous that she screams the “racist” mantra whenever a white person does anything positive. Anybody who gets their info/news from “The View” is bound to be severely mentally stunted.)
Earlier this week, we saw LeBron James speak from experience, calling out “the haters,” who are rooting against Indiana Fever rookie sensation Caitlin Clark. That also saw Charles Barkley call out women, in particular, but his comments were aimed toward players in the WNBA, while James were directed toward non-players.
The conversation surrounding Clark has ignited discussions about gender and race in basketball and all sports. And that saw Sunny Hostin of The View bypass James’ comments while offering her own perspective on the ongoing debate sparked by Clark and its broader implications.
Weighing in on the potential impact of Clark’s rise, Hostin shared her personal experience:
“I’ve been a basketball fan since I can remember,” Hostin said. “blah, blah, blah, blah …”
“With that being said, I do think that there is a thing called pretty privilege. There is a thing called white privilege. There is a thing called tall privilege. And we have to acknowledge that. Part of it is about race because if you think about the Brittney Griners of the world, why did she have to go to play in Russia? This is part of my point. Caitlin Clark is bringing this money and these sponsorships — we hope — into the league, and other players will benefit from it.
“But I do think she is more relatable to more people because she’s white because she’s attractive. …”

Can The Supreme Court Intervene After Trump’s Conviction? Legal Experts Say Yes.
The guilty verdict against former President Donald Trump reached by a Manhattan jury on Thursday could ultimately be reviewed by the U.S. Supreme Court, legal experts said.
Trump was convicted on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in an unprecedented verdict against the presumptive Republican presidential nominee just months before the 2024 election. The verdict is likely to be appealed by Trump’s legal team, however, and experts say the final decision in Trump’s hush-money trial could come down to a ruling from the highest court in the land.
Attorney Roger Severino, who is the vice president of Domestic Policy and the Joseph C. and Elizabeth A. Anderlik fellow at the Heritage Foundation, told “Morning Wire” on Friday that Trump’s legal team could make “constitutional arguments that his right to a fair trial was violated.”
“And the Constitution means something,” Severino added. “It means, if anything, you cannot jail political opponents because you don’t like what the American people are going to vote for.”
Severino said that he believes the Supreme Court will intervene in the case if Trump doesn’t win on appeal.
“Ultimately, I think the Supreme Court, if he doesn’t win on appeal, will take this up and reverse,” the attorney said. “This is a political prosecution. We are better than this as a country and this cannot stand.”
The Heritage Foundation fellow added that whether Trump ends up behind bars is still unknown, saying “it would be shameful if this judge were to order this man to go to jail when they weren’t able to point to any victims.”
“This is so shocking and unprecedented that we’re even discussing the possibility of putting political opponents in jail in the middle of an election,” he said.
Judge Juan Merchan scheduled Trump’s sentencing for July 11, just four days before the start of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee where Trump is set to be nominated for president. The former president could face up to four years in prison.
Lawyer and political commentator Mark Levin also wrote about the possibility of the Supreme Court ruling on Trump’s guilty verdict, saying he was surprised that “TV lawyers and others” talking about Trump’s conviction “ignore a federal path to the Supreme Court.”
“The issue is how to get out of the New York system and bring the case to the Supreme Court, which may or may not take it up,” Levin wrote on Thursday night. “That is why I look to Bush v Gore, where the S Ct decided to step in BECAUSE it was a presidential election.”
“There was another court involved, the Florida Supreme Court. And it was that court that the Supreme Court believed was violating the Equal Protection Clause. That was the doctrine it settled on, given the unequal treatment of voters,” he added.
Levin then laid out how the case that was prosecuted by Manhattan Democratic District Attorney Alvin Bragg and decided by 12 Manhattan jurors could go before the Supreme Court.
“In New York, you would file the notice of appeal, ask for a stay of the trial court, and seek expedited review,” he wrote. “You need to protect your ability to timely appeal and not abandon it. You might then file applications for common law writs with the US Supreme Court, where the S Ct can take action if it chooses, and legitimately claim the harm is immediate and ongoing not just to a presidential candidate, but to the federal electoral system, federal campaign jurisdiction (reverse federalism), and the precedent that might otherwise be set and spread throughout the country. The denial of due process infected every aspect of the case.”

Florida GOP lawmakers react to Trump NYC verdict.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida lawmakers reacted to news of a New York City jury finding former President Donald Trump guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records, making him the first former president to be convicted of a felony.
“Today’s verdict represents the culmination of a legal process that has been bent to the political will of the actors involved: a leftist prosecutor, a partisan judge and a jury reflective of one of the most liberal enclaves in America—all in an effort to ‘get’ Donald Trump,” said Gov. Ron DeSantis on his “X” account.
“That this case—involving alleged misdemeanor business records violations from nearly a decade ago—was even brought is a testament to the political debasement of the justice system in places like New York City. This is especially true considering this same district attorney routinely excuses criminal conduct in a way that has endangered law-abiding citizens in his jurisdiction.”
The governor said Trump had been singled out by prosecutors.
“If the defendant were not Donald Trump, this case would never have been brought, the judge would have never issued similar rulings, and the jury would have never returned a guilty verdict,” he continued.
“In America, the rule of law should be applied in a dispassionate, even-handed manner, not become captive to the political agenda of some kangaroo court,” the governor said.

Sen. Marco Rubio also posted to his “X” account, “The verdict in New York is a complete travesty that makes a mockery of our system of justice. A political show trial conducted by an openly pro-Biden judge whose daughter makes money off the case, a jury from the most liberal county in America, absurd and ridiculous charges and outrageous jury instructions that guaranteed guilty verdicts.”
https://x.com/marcorubio/status/1796288773161984161
Rep. Byron Donalds also reacted to the verdict, “What happened in NY is disaster verdict by a crooked judge and a crooked prosecution. Donald Trump is innocent. To hell with what the jury said,” Donalds posted on his “X” account. “America, this is what a political prosecution looks like. Remember in November!”

Florida State Sen. Danny Burgess told Florida’s Voice, “This case against President Trump was a blatant abuse of the legal system. Since the very beginning, it was clear that it was politically motivated.”
“Weaponizing the courts like this to go after a political opponent was designed to affect actual election interference, plain and simple, and it goes against the very foundation this nation was built on,” Burgess said.
https://x.com/DannyBurgessFL/status/1796306469140226218
“Today’s verdict proves that radical leftists will stop at nothing to destroy President Donald J. Trump,” Florida state Rep. Berny Jacques of District 59 said in a statement to Florida’s Voice.
“The State of New York should be using its public resources to combat rampant crime and illegal immigration in their state, but they instead spent taxpayer dollars to stack up a Soviet style kangaroo court. This is a shameful and dangerous misuse of our legal system,” said Jacques.
https://x.com/BernyJacques/status/1796290997158092886
Florida Sen. Jay Collins called the verdict “political persecution” on his “X” account, “Our heroes didn’t sacrifice their lives for this country so that a corrupt regime can persecute a political opponent. This was blatant persecution against the leading candidate for President, Donald J. Trump,” he said.
“The American people are not foolish. It’s clear that Joe Biden has successfully orchestrated a sham trial. It’s time to stand up and ensure that Biden’s banana republic administration is not successful in November. #FreeTrump.”
https://x.com/JayCollinsFL/status/1796301444259221715
Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis also reacted to the verdict: “Banana republic. To orchestrate charges in an election year for something years earlier just to try and take out a political opponent – this is what people have been fleeing in 3rd World countries for decades. Embarrassing. Low point in American history. Sad day.”

VERDICT: Trump Found Guilty On All Charges In Hush-Money Case.
Jurors returned a guilty verdict on Thursday in Donald Trump‘s hush-money trial in New York, marking the first time a former U.S. president has been convicted of a crime.
The decision is the culmination of a weeks-long courtroom battle in which Trump claimed he was the target of a “political persecution” as he runs another campaign for a second term in the White House. The former president was found guilty on all 34 charges brought in the trial.
Legal experts doubt the 77-year-old Trump will end up being incarcerated, though the Secret Service reportedly coordinated with local jail officials just in case. Possible alternatives to imprisonment include probation or community service.
Sentencing has been scheduled for July 11, just days before the Republican National Convention is set to be held in Milwaukee. Trump, who is the presumptive GOP nominee, can still run for the presidency if he ends up behind bars.
In response to the guilty verdict, Trump delivered remarks in which he called himself an “innocent man” and declared that the “real verdict” will happen on November 5, which is Election Day.
At the heart of the case brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg were 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to conceal damaging information around the 2016 election as part of a “catch-and-kill” scheme.
Prosecutors accused Trump of improperly masking reimbursements to repay his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, for a $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels in exchange for her silence on an alleged extramarital affair by classifying them as legal expenses.
Trump has denied that the affair with Stormy Daniels ever happened and pleaded not guilty to the charges. His lawyers argued there was no intent to defraud or influence the 2016 election.
Closing arguments took place on Tuesday after both sides rested their case last week and jury deliberations began on Wednesday. The 12 jurors made a couple of requests for information, including to rehear some witness testimony and the judge’s jury instructions.
At a news conference on Thursday, Bragg thanked the jurors for performing a service that he described as “literally the cornerstone of our judicial system.”
Commenting on the work of the prosecution, the district attorney said, “I did my job. Our job is to follow the facts and the law without fear or favor, and that’s exactly what we did here.”
Bragg and Judge Juan Merchan, who presided over the trial, have faced intense blowback from Trump and his allies.
Republicans in the House opened an investigation and filed complaints, raising concerns about potential bias and misconduct tainting the case. With the judge, they set their focus on past donations to groups supporting Democrats and his daughter working as a political consultant for Democratic candidates.
Merchan refused to recuse himself and issued a gag order meant to stop Trump from commenting publicly on jurors, witnesses, and others linked to the case. Trump claimed the gag order violated his First Amendment rights and continued to speak out, resulting in thousands of dollars in fines.
Three other criminal matters on the state and federal levels hang over Trump as he seeks re-election this year, prompting the former president to say he is the victim of a politically motivated “witch hunt.” It is not clear whether any of those will reach the trial stage before the November election.
Despite all the court battles, Trump remains competitive in polling for the presidential race.

An Appeal To Heaven Flag
(Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito flew this flag over his NJ vacation home.
The liberals and the msm now say that this evil flag is a symbol of support for former President Donald J. Trump, for a religious strand of the “Stop the Steal” campaign and for a push to remake American government in Christian terms.)
"And where the Body of the People, or any single Man, is deprived of their Right, or is under the Exercise of a power without right, and have no Appeal on Earth, there they have a liberty to appeal to Heaven, whenever they judge the Cause of sufficient moment." - John Locke
In the rich tapestry of American history, few symbols carry the profound weight the "An Appeal to Heaven" flag. This iconic emblem, also known as the Pine Tree flag, holds a special place in the hearts of those who cherish American values and the relentless pursuit of liberty. Let's explore the story, symbolism, and enduring significance of this meaningful flag in our nation's history.

Navarro actually claimed that these immigrants just want to “pass as more American” and calls it a “stupid attitude”:

U.S. Military Forced To Halt Shipments On Biden’s Gaza Pier After It Falls Apart.
The U.S. Department of Defense said on Tuesday that it has been forced to halt the use of President Joe Biden’s $320 million pier in Gaza because it has fallen apart.
Sabrina Singh, the Pentagon’s deputy press secretary, said at a press conference that the pier was “damaged and sections of the pier need rebuilding and repairing.”
She blamed the failure of the controversial project on “a perfect storm of high sea states” and “this North African weather system also came in at the same time.”
The U.S. Military will remove the pier from Gaza and bring it to Israel so it can be fixed and reconstructed, which is expected to take at least a week.
“I believe most of our soldiers were able to remain on the vessels and still are currently on them,” Singh claimed at the press conference. “And … within the next 24 or 48 hours, the Israeli Navy will be helping push those vessels back and hopefully they’ll be fully operational by then.”
Video emerged of the pier sinking on Monday as a man speaking Hebrew could be heard laughing at Biden’s pier “sinking.”
Dozens Of Palestinians Killed In Rafah Blast Died From ‘Secondary Explosions’ Likely From Hamas Weapons: IDF
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released results from their initial investigation into the deaths of dozens of people at a tent camp in Rafah on Tuesday, saying that the munitions the country used were too small and were used too far away from where the people died to have been responsible for their deaths.
The IDF launched a strike against senior Hamas terrorists on Sunday night who were meeting inside a compound in Rafah that is used by Hamas.
Hamas-controlled local officials claimed that approximately four dozen people were killed in the strike and claimed that Israel was responsible for their deaths.
“The strike was based on precise intelligence that indicated that these terrorists, who were responsible for orchestrating and executing terror attacks against Israelis, were meeting inside the specific structure we targeted,” said IDF spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari. “These terrorists were responsible for the deaths of Israelis and they were actively commanding operations that could have killed even more. Their deaths saved lives.”
He showed images from Israeli aerial surveillance from the time of the strike that shows the IDF targeted a structure approximately 200 yards away from where the fire broke out in the tent camp.
“Contrary to reports, we conducted the strike outside the area that we designated as a humanitarian area and called civilians to evacuate to,” he said. “Our strike was over a kilometer and a half away from the Al-Mawasi humanitarian area.”
The strike hit an area approximately 200 yards away from the tent camp using munitions with the smallest warheads that can be used by military aircraft. The warheads had only 35 pounds of explosive material, which is extremely small compared to what is commonly used on battlefields around the world.
“Our munition alone could not have ignited a fire of this size,” he said, noting that Hamas has been operating out of the area since October 7, which is a war crime since they are operating around civilians.

Politico: School Choice Has Allowed Parents to Choose Good Schools in Florida, and Now the Bad Government Schools Are Closing, and That's ... Bad, for Some Reason.
(I rarely post articles from Politiko, but when I find an article that has them crying I have no choice.)
But liberals really care about the children and not just the government workers, right?
Gov. Ron DeSantis and Florida Republicans have spent years aggressively turning the state into a haven for school choice. They have been wildly successful, with tens of thousands more children enrolling in private or charter schools or homeschooling.
Now as those programs balloon, some of Florida's largest school districts are facing staggering enrollment declines -- and grappling with the possibility of campus closures -- as dollars follow the increasing number of parents opting out of traditional public schools.
The emphasis on these programs has been central to DeSantis' goals of remaking the Florida education system, and they are poised for another year of growth. DeSantis' school policies are already influencing other GOP-leaning states, many of which have pursued similar voucher programs. But Florida has served as a conservative laboratory for a suite of other policies, ranging from attacking public- and private-sector diversity programs to fighting the Biden administration on immigration.
"We need some big changes throughout the country," DeSantis said Thursday evening at the Florida Homeschool Convention in Kissimmee. "Florida has shown a blueprint, and we really can be an engine for that as other states work to adopt a lot of the policies that we've done."
Education officials in some of the state's largest counties are looking to scale back costs by repurposing or outright closing campuses -- including in Broward, Duval and Miami-Dade counties. Even as some communities rally to try to save their local public schools, traditional public schools are left with empty seats and budget crunches.
Since 2019-20, when the pandemic upended education, some 53,000 students have left traditional public schools in these counties, a sizable total that is forcing school leaders to consider closing campuses that have been entrenched in local communities for years.
In Broward County, Florida's second-largest school district, officials have floated plans to close up to 42 campuses over the next few years, moves that would have a ripple effect across Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood.
The district has lost more than 20,000 students over the last five years, a decline that comes as charter schools in particular experienced sizable growth in the area. Enrollment in charters, which are public schools operating under performance contracts freeing them of many state regulations, increased by nearly 27,000 students since 2010, according to Broward school officials.
Broward County Public Schools claims to have more than 49,000 classroom seats sitting empty this year, a number that "closely matches" the 49,833 students attending charter schools in the area, officials noted in an enrollment overview.
