Around 1 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2017, Jordan White of William White Farms, Inc. in Switz City, Indiana posted a video to facebook that showed an overhead tank filled with more than 10,000 bushel of corn collapsing as it was being unloaded into a truck, taking down a power line on its way and sending up a fireball when the highly flammable grain dust was ignited by the electrical sparks. Steve White, the poster’s father, suspected at the time there was a problem with the steel of the five-year-old grain bin.
