Trump proposes no taxes on overtime pay in latest policy announcement.

TUCSON, Ariz. – Former President Donald Trump a new ambitious tax proposal during an Arizona rally Thursday – rescinding income taxes on overtime work.
“Today, I’m also announcing that as part of our additional tax cuts, we will end all taxes on overtime,” Trump said. “You know what that means?”
“That gives people more of an incentive to work. It gives the companies a lot. It’s a lot easier to get the people,” the former president said. “The people who work overtime are among the hardest working citizens in our country, and for too long no one in Washington has been looking out for them.”
Trump said much of the overtime-working population includes nurses, officers, factory workers, truck drivers and machine operators.
“It’s time for the working man and woman to finally catch a break, and that’s what we’re doing because this is a good one,” he said.
The proposal would apply if you’re working past 40 hours per week, Trump added.
On top of his other economic proposals – such as rescinding income tax on tips – such a move would require congressional approval.
However, his tips policy has been adopted by Vice President Kamala Harris and has support from Democrats as well as Republicans, indicating there is a real potential for even a divided federal legislature to pass tax breaks.

I can’t wait to hear what the Kamala Harris media networks will spew about this … they already claimed that Trump’s policy of No Taxes On Tips policy would “cost the government” $250 billion over 10 years.
