    1. I like it ... I would have painted it a different color but I'd drive it.

    3. Yes, unless they did something different that year. But all of 'em I've ever seen, cab tilts forward.

    4. That is a Jeep FC-150. I own one.
NONE of these cabs tilt forward from the factory. Some people have modified them to make the cab tilt but it takes a significant effort to accomplish it.
To work on the engine you have to remove the seats and an engine cover between the two seats. This can be done with no tools. If you need more access to the engine there are covers in the cab and wheel wells that can be easily removed with a screwdriver.
If you need to remove the engine you can take it out through the passenger door or you can remove the cab all together.
      (no tools needed

    5. Thanks for the clarification. I've seen 3 of them and they all tilted forward. But I've seen videos where it looked like the engine work was being done inside the cab. So I guess the videos were of original FC-150's with no modifications.

  2. Had one it was really beat up and rusted to death but I was happy to have it. It and I were too far gone to rebuild I hated to let it go but a guy drove hundreds of miles to take it to a new home. Note: I don’t know how I was converted to anon but somehow got my handle back again

    1. Glad you got the name back. I like knowing who the comments belong to.
I think these things are pretty good farm vehicles.
A friend of a friend had one back in the day and I didn't like the feel of riding down the highway in it. Just felt unprotected and weak.
