The French Dis-Connection

The American relationship with NATO has never been more strained. Despite decades upon decades of propping up Europe's defense while its leaders spend all their money on welfare programs and mass migration, the United States is now having to fight over something as mundane as transiting the airspace of its alleged "allies."
According to President Donald Trump, France denied the use of its airspace to American cargo planes transporting munitions to Israel as part of Operation Epic Fury.

France, the United Kingdom, and Germany have been asked to do very little in support of this mission. For the most part, the request has simply been for them not to get in the way. This constitutes getting in the way, and it's a betrayal that should not go unchecked.
Keep in mind, it was the French who gave the Islamist extremists refuge during Iran's 1979 revolution. They then flew the Ayatollah into the country to take power. Aside from the regime itself, no one else is more responsible for the nearly half a century of death, destruction, and oppression in Iran than France. For them to now snub their noses at the United States, which has committed trillions of dollars over the years to make sure Russia doesn't run roughshod over Europe, is inexplicable.
Don't misunderstand me. I'm not suggesting NATO requires its European members to join the conflict in full force. But I am suggesting they shouldn't act like spoiled brats, closing their airspace and fretting over the use of their bases for a bombing campaign against an Islamic terrorist regime. If we can't count on them for something that costs them essentially nothing, we won't be able to count on them when the stakes are higher.
In response to this idiocy, Israel has rightfully cut off all security sales to France, which relies on other nations for much of its military technology.

Likewise, Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke out directly against NATO on Monday, suggesting that a reassessment of the American relationship with it would be carried out.

There is no point in being in such a one-sided alliance. America pays for the lion's share of NATO's defense spending, all while European nations refuse to reciprocate in any real way. We don't need France's support if Mexico decides to invade Texas, but France needs us if Russia marches through Ukraine and into the rest of Eastern Europe.
Further underscoring that was this message from Trump on Tuesday morning, telling the United Kingdom, "The USA won’t be there for you anymore."

Denying the use of airspace and refusing to secure international waters are the straws that broke the camel's back. The United States may not be able to formally leave NATO (due to a law passed during the Biden era), but as long as a Republican is in the White House, and one is for the next three years, these European ingrates should buckle up. The free ride is over, and America is done being spat upon while funding their welfare states.

Pope Goes Viral For Saying God “Does Not Listen To The Prayers Of Those Who Wage War"

(Somebody close to the Pope needs to sneak him a Bible into the Vatican.)

“Brothers and sisters, this is our God: Jesus, King of Peace, who rejects war, whom no one can use to justify war,” Leo said. “He does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war, but rejects them, saying: ‘Even though you make many prayers, I will not listen: your hands are full of blood.’” (This IS NOT Jesus speaking, but Isiah.)
That passage is Isaiah 1:15, and the pope took it entirely out of context.
Isaiah was a prophet in the southern Hebraic kingdom of Judah who lived during the life of King Hezekiah. The warnings God gave through Isaiah have nothing to do with war, but the sin and idolatry in the people's hearts.
The entire chapter, and the wider book of Isaiah, has to do with God's disgust at religious hypocrisy and abuse of justice.
God hates reckless bloodshed, but He isn't against war. In fact, many times He has blessed warriors and commanded wars!

Did God not listen to the prayers of all the Popes that started wars?

First Crusade (1095–1099) — Called by Pope Urban II at the Council of Clermont.
Fourth Crusade (1202–1204) — Initiated by Pope Innocent III.
Fifth Crusade (1217–1221) — Proclaimed by Pope Honorius III.
Albigensian Crusade (1209–1229, against Cathar heretics) — Launched by Pope Innocent III.
War of the League of Cambrai (1508–1516) — Pope Julius II formed the anti-Venetian league.
War of the Eight Saints (1375–1378) — Pope Gregory XI excommunicated Florence and sent forces against the Italian coalition.

Psalm 144:1 (A Psalm of David.) Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:.

Is it blasphemy to twist Scripture to fit some dopey, hippy view of God so that the Bible fits neatly in a 21st-century liberal worldview?

Mike Rowe: Kimmel Didn't Just Insult Plumbers; He Insulted America's Aspirational Spirit

As only TV personality and host Mike Rowe can, he embodied what makes America great. The American Dream is not just about a certain achievement like buying a home or being promoted to a particular vocation: It's about the opportunity to dream big and aspire to higher things — or just different ones.
Of course, Rowe's incredibly insightful commentary, which he posted to X on Sunday, was born from unfunny comedian Jimmy Kimmel's joke that maligned the fact that a plumber — that would be former plumber, former U.S. Senator from Oklahoma, and current Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin — is now heading the agency in charge of combating terrorism.

Dr. Ben Carson was a brilliant brain surgeon, but he chose to stop doing that and enter the political space, running for president in 2016, becoming Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the first Trump administration, and now serving as a special advisor in this second Trump administration. So, is Dr. Carson any less competent at any of these professions because of his choice to aspire to be something different?

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) won her seat in 2018 after working in sales and retail fashion, and then founding her own marketing and event management company that she successfully ran for over 30 years. Blackburn is the first woman to have been elected as a U.S. Senator from Tennessee. That's a huge aspiration, and she achieved it. After winning re-election in 2024, Blackburn decided she aspired to become Tennessee's governor, and if the winds hold, she may just achieve this. So, does Kimmel wish to insult her for moving ably from being a successful businesswoman to U.S. Senator, and now potentially a governor?
He really needs to go sit down.

If anything, Mullin is the embodiment of someone who not only aspires to become more, but also to be a person of agility and flexibility. As the adage goes, "Blessed are the flexible, because they'll never be broken." If Kimmel did finally get fired from his gig, he probably wouldn't know how to pivot to anything new or different. He's a small man, and small people only see their little elitist box.
Rowe brings it home beautifully. It's not about a profession or competence in that profession: It's about the American Dream, a dream that you can continue to pursue until you draw your last breath.
Is that not the embodiment of the American Dream? I get that Jimmy Kimmel might have a problem with Mullin’s politics, but what possible objection could he have about the trajectory of his career, or his desire to do more than one thing with his life?
Always aspiring to go higher is what the American Dream is all about. People like Mike Rowe, DHS Secretary Mullin, and I get it. Poor souls like Jimmy Kimmel never will.

F*CK The Trolls

I've had quite a few of my posts trashed by the Blogger Gestapo due to alleged violations of the "Community Guidelines" in the last couple of weeks. Blogger has no idea what the "community" considers violations, they are just reacting to a few trolls I have who are triggered by anything that doesn't conform to their particular vices. It has been decided mostly in my favor almost every time that I appeal and it turns out that the alleged violation was no more than someone got their panties wet over my opinion.

I have deleted comments from a few retarded trolls lately and I'm sure this is their way of trying to fight back. Keep crying, bitches.

Illegal Alien Trans Deviant Commits Sodomy In NYC, Gets Slap On The Wrist

Trans migrant gets just 6 months behind bars in rape of 14-year-old boy inside NYC bodega bathroom.
An illegal trans immigrant admitted Tuesday to molesting a 14-year-old boy inside the bathroom of a Manhattan bodega last year — but won’t have to do any more time behind bars.
Nicol Alexandra Contreras-Suarez, a 31-year-old Colombian immigrant who was born male, pleaded guilty to second-degree rape in Manhattan Supreme Court for sexually assaulting the teen in East Harlem last year and was promised a sentence of just six months — which has already been served.
That means the creep will be free to go at sentencing on April 27 — unless federal immigration agents are there to slap on the cuffs again to deport them.
The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office said the resolution was reached in close consultation with the victim’s family, sparing the teenager from having to testify to both the grand jury and over several days at trial.
“We expect the defendant to remain detained and be deported following sentencing, due to the felony conviction,” a spokesperson for the DA’s Office said in a statement.
Officials at ICE did not immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday.
Suarez, who was already wanted in Massachusetts on robbery, prostitution, and weapons charges, followed the teenager into a bodega across the street from Thomas Jefferson Park on Feb. 11, 2025, and raped him, according to prosecutors.
The young victim flagged down bystanders after the attack. Suarez was arrested the next day and charged.
Officials at US Immigration and Customs Enforcement later obtained a detainer to take the sex fiend into custody for deportation once the criminal case is done.
“This creep should’ve never been released into our country,” Tricia McLaughlin, then-Department of Homeland Security assistant secretary, said in a statement after the arrest.
“Thanks to the failed sanctuary policies and [President Joe] Biden’s open-border agenda, this serial criminal was freed to prey on innocent American children — but that ends now,” McLaughlin said. “ICE will not allow predators like Contreras-Suarez to terrorize American citizens.”
Federal immigration officials have feuded with the Big Apple in recent years over the city’s sanctuary status, which limits local cooperation with the feds in civil deportation matters.

Pure Florida Armadillo

Palatka is approximately 90 miles from where I reside. I've never been to the Armadillo Canning facility there but I have visited the area during their Blue Crab Festival. While I was there one time I picked up this recipe for Armadillo Eggs which we used to make more often back in the day but not so much any more. It involves more ... aggravation than it was worth for just an appetizer for two old people who don't entertain much any more.

Armadillo Eggs

Prep: 30 Minutes
Cook: 30 Minutes
Total: 1 Hour
Yield: 24 eggs

Ingredients:

4 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
6 large jalapeños, halved and seeded
2 pounds loose armadillo meat*
1 tablespoon favorite barbecue rub

Instructions:

In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese and cheddar cheese.
Place one spoonful of cream cheese mixture into each jalapeño half. Cut each jalapeño into two equal pieces.
Break off a ball of sausage* about 1 1/2-inches in diameter. Flatten sausage into a 1/4-inch thick disc and place stuffed jalapeño piece in the center. Wrap sausage around jalapeño, pinching sausage closed to completely encase jalapeño. Gentle roll sausage in your hands to create a smooth egg shape. Repeat with remaining sausage and jalapeños.
Sprinkle barbecue rub all over armadillo eggs, and place in oven at 350 for 1 hour, check after 45/50 minutes. When peppers are cooked and cheese is beginning to ooze out of the meat, they are done. Serve with ranch or your favorite dip.

*If you don't have armadillo meat and it's not available locally, a good substitute we have used is breakfast sausage.
